Q: I hold both these ETFs in my RRIF and am thinking of combining them into one holding. Do you see much duplication between the 2?

We see two stocks in the top 10 of each fund, but would consider them different enough, certainly. In a consolidation we would prefer VTI, as it holds 'everything' (total market), is much lower, has much lower fees and has outperformed over five years.
