Q: I have owned SNC for a few years now and it is sitting around what I paid. Dividend is very low . Do you expect any worthwhile growth or should I move on. I have a fairly well balanced portfolio but can add or build a new position.
5i Research Answer:
SNC is up 40% this year, bringing P/E to 24X. That is cheaper than WSP but more expensive than STN. While we think it is OK, we prefer the others and would not view SNC as a need-to-own stocks. We would choose WSP over SNC but it also has a low dividend. If one is looking for growth and higher yield, we would suggest TRI (1.6%) for a large cap or EIF (4.9%) for a mid-cap.
