Q: Would HGD be a good stock to consider these days as the price of gold appears to be deteriorating again? THANKS!
Q: Would you consider providing a model portfolio consisting solely of ETFs? Your current stock model portfolio is helpful but I think that an ETF portfolio would be valuable to your members.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: I have 25k to invest in the financial sector, I prefer Canadian banks outside of my registered accounts. Are the Canadian banks fully priced after the recent run. Do you see further upside in the Canadian Banks in the next 12 months and if so which 2 banks have the most to gain going forward. Which 2 banks will increase their dividends in the next 12 months. Instead of investing equally in two Canadian banks would I be better off to invest in ZWB or ZEB which hold all the major banks. Thanks for your highly valued opinion.

Q: Industrials has been one of the hottest sectors in both Canada and the U.S. this year. Chartist might say the sector is "overbought". I'm wondering if you would recommend the BMO Equal Weight Industrials ETF (ZIN) at this time?
Q: Hi Peter and 5iResearch Team,
While listening to BNN this morning the host mentioned that China hedges the USD by buying US real estate. Can you recommend a good ETF that invests in US commercial real estate and do you think this is a good time to buy? I currently own Morguard NA Residential REIT. Can you comment regarding commercial US REIT vs. Cdn REIT that invests in US commercial property? Thank you.

Q: Hello Peter & team:
What is your take on CSD - Guggenheim Spin-Off ETF to get US exposure via an ETF? It's MER is up there but year to date return this past year is over 50%.
Thanks in advance, Greg.

Q: I am interested in purchasing a dividend etf, what would you recommend
Q: Hello, I would like to know why the size of an etf seems to be a factor when 5I answers questions relating to etfs. My understanding is that regardless of its current size when a buy is initiated the fund provider just has to add the appropriate amount of units to satisfy the purchaser via buying the underlying stocks in the market. Does this create liquidity problems/a wider bid ask spread? Your comments, as always, would be appreciated. Thank you.
Q: Currently I do not hold any health care and am looking for an ETF or individual stocks for my RRSP. I am looking for growth with some stability (if that's possible in todays environment) and would appreciate any thoughts as to what and where you would buy. Appreciate all the work you do for everyone!

Q: With interest rates on the rise is it time to sell my CPD Preferred share ETF and replace it with the common shares of low beta dividend payers. CPD is in a non registered account and is about 5% of my registered and non registered total holdings.
Q: Hi Peter,
CBO and XHB, both from ishares. Similar in yield, similar last 12 months return but big difference in number of holdings. 44 for CBO and 323 for XHB. Morningstar classifies XHB as low risk and CBO as avg risk. What is your opinion on both? Should I buy both? Thanks

Q: Hi Peter and team: Are you in a position to comment on the iShares MSCI South Africa ETF that was mentioned in David Berman's glam article yesterday? I checked out its performance and looked at the main constituent companies and it looks OK to me (though I couldn't tell if "blood diamonds" were involved anywhere). Berman suggested it as a way of investing in Africa -though it is represented in other countries also. Thanks for any information you can provide.
