Thanks.

Q: Can you recommend a CAD hedged ETF that invests in high yield floating bank loans? Thank you, Rick
Q: Hi Peter. Just curious on your thoughts on First Asset Tech Giants ETF(TXF) as a way to get exposure to tech? It holds 25 names which seem to rotate based on momentum, and it has a current yield of close to 7% based on a call writing program. Given the higher implied volatility levels in tech names it only needs to surrender 25% of the upside though. Seems lightly owned given the low trading volumes, but a good way to play US tech without picking a winner?
Q: Dear 5i,
I would like to add a European ETF to my portfolio to take advantage of growth coming out of the region's recession. I am considering either FEZ or VGK. Which one would you recommend, or is there another?
Thanks in advance,
Helen

Q: Hi team:
I already have SPY and VIG in my investment account
I am planning to add IWO as well which is a good choice from advices from the e-mails
If I put it in a investment account vs TFSA vs RRSP
I am aware of the tax withholding of some of the US funds,
could you let us know re: the differences in tax holding in the above accounts ?

Q: I have the majority of my US holdings in VIG and IWO plus a few large caps (JNJ, MSFT, ABBV, NSC, GE, T). I am still underweight in this area so I would like to buy more over the next few months. However, with the falling loonie I am feeling reluctant to add to these positions in my CDN $ registered account. I already feel like I screwed by the discount broker on foreign exchange to begin with, and the weak loonie just makes me feel worse. Any comments would be appreciated.
Q: Hello Peter, keeping in mind the long term and maintaining a balanced 20 stock portfolio closely mirroring the 5i Model portfolio is it advisable to add some US exposure of 10 to 15 % to the portfolio presently?
In the question answer section of 5i the following ETF’s SPY, IWO, and VIG seen to be the choice. For the long term would you suggest 3 equal parts of the above ETF’s or go mostly for the growth potential of small caps and recommended only IWO? Thank you for providing such great insight, Ronald

Q: What's the best way to short the U.S dollar in Canadian dollars? Thanks!
Q: re......deflation. I feel it is a possibility we may see real deflation where I live subject to the US dollar question of course. I am not worried about it from a local point of view but from a Canadian Macro economic point of view if it got going it could be worrisome. I believe we would have lots of notice with time to have some form of plan ready to go so to not have one is just plain crazy. But I can only find blank faces when I ask for opinions. Since I am convinced I must stay invested, I is moving to consumer staples a reasonable move? What moves might the bank of Canada do? Who is a deflation guru with an answer?
Is there a place to hide?
Thanks very much
