BDGI please see this answer from last week as well. The miss may keep the stock quiet in the short term but it is an interesting company with long term potential. The balance sheet is decent and EPS is expected to more than double this year. It has been the subject of a takeover attempt in the past. Insiders do not own a lot but have been net buyers in the last six months.
ALS is $2.7B market cap, and has about $200M net cash. Yield is 0.81% but has room to grow. Revenue and profit growth are solid, though the stock is quite expensive on valuation. ALS generates revenue through diversified royalties on long-life, high-margin operations, avoiding direct mining risks, plus project generation and recent renewable royalties like a lithium acquisition. Its royalties tend to be earlier stage, but this provides upside potential as projects move into production. The stock has done well, up 81% in a year. Insiders own 4.25%. We would consider it a good small cap royalty company, but it does trade at a premium.
