Can you give your thoughts on this ETF FINN? If buying, which method (ETF, Mutual fund series B, mutual fund series F, etc.) makes the most sense for a self directed investor? which has lowest fees? Would be for long term hold, high risk is ok.
2nd part, looking for ideas on making one single investment, for a long term hold, additional money would be invested annually, it would be in a TFSA. High risk tolerance.
thanks
The lowest fees are on the FINN ETF; advisor series fund units may be cheaper, but these are only available through an advisor, and they would charge their own management fee on an account, so the net result would not be cheaper. FINN is up 28.61% in a year, and up 0.43% YTD. It is 82% US invested, with about 62% tech, which makes sense for an "innovators" fund. We would consider it a solid, but aggressive, growth-focused ETF.
A single stock idea is of course riskier than an ETF. In terms of growth potential and comfort level, BN and SHOP would be our choices.
