Q: The controlling shareholders are active in the day to day and hold over 50 % of the outstanding shares.
It seems logical that they will want to retire soon.
Do you agree that a transition is near term likely ?
The stock is rising lately ?

While a privatization/takeover would not surprise us, it is not something we would expect, and nothing really stands out there to imply one is imminent or close. The controlling shareholders have been in this situation for decades. The stock was below $10 less than a year ago and that probably should have been the time for action. The company also has far less cash than it had a few years ago, so more financing would be needed for a privatization. The stock is up on earnings and (record revenue) and analyst upgrades. It has also raised its dividend and paid a special dividend at year end 2025.  It is more 'hardware' related and thus also less vulnerable to AI incursion. It is a decent company with an attractive dividend. One day it will likely be taken over. We are just not sure of the timing, and it could take many more years.
