Q: Hi Peter & 5i,
Would you start to slowly chip away at TRI?
CEO Hasker seemed positive that the AI companies automating general-purpose tasks couldn't match TRI's content, expertise and TRI's own current and potential AI driven workflows.
Dividend is starting to look attractive after the 10% raise.

5i Research Answer:
Ha ha! Sentiment is always tough to gauge, and yesterday's reversal was disheartening. We do not think TRI is going away, and it has the ability to buy growth as well (as it has done before). We are somewhat surprised at the extent of its decline, but that can create opportunities. Any sentiment swing would be very positive, as the fundamentals so far remain good. We would be OK slowly buying. We are not fully convinced the AI-software scare has run its course.
