HSLV, a silver miner is up almost 600% in the past year. What is your take.

The sector has of course been on fire (we show 420% one-year return for HSLV). Market cap is just under $1B now. As an emerging producer, it is expected to ramp up revenue this year, but will still experience losses and negative cash flow. It recently announced the acquisition of BCM, and its Corani Project in Peru. HSLV's San Luis project (Peru) features Indicated Resources of 356,000 oz gold at 24.4 g/t Au and 8.4 Moz silver at 579 g/t Ag, ranking among the top 10 highest-grade global projects for both metals. Recent 2025 drilling at the Bonita vein system yielded standout intercepts like 23.9m at 20.82 g/t Au and 31.53 g/t Ag, plus new discoveries such as the Kusy zone. Corani adds 229 Moz silver and significant lead-zinc reserves in Proven & Probable categories. Augusta Investments owns 35% of the company. As companies get nearer to production, they often get re-rated higher, and this has moved the stock in the past year (in addition to the sector move). It should be considered speculative still but has a lot of solid qualities.
