Rick Rule has Amerigo Resources as a top pick due to the copper mine in Chile. Is 5i research is bullish on the company as a small cap. What is the mine life of the copper and is there more growth in the name.
Please see these recent comments on ARG. Amerigo Resources Ltd. (TSX: ARG), through its wholly-owned Minera Valle Central (MVC) operation in Chile, processes tailings from Codelco's El Teniente mine to produce copper and molybdenum concentrates. The production mine life for MVC spans from 1992 to at least 2037. As of late 2025, MVC maintains high plant availability around 97.7% and has produced over 1,020 million pounds of copper since inception. Temporary disruptions, such as those from a 2025 seismic event at El Teniente, have occurred but do not alter the stated life of operation.
