Q: Hello 5i Guys
I followed the thread on previous questions on ALV and understand they're small and risky. But, last year (2024) your opinion seemed down as these guys as stock had dropped 25%. But, recently in December (2025) your opinion seemed more 'upbeat'.
For 2026 and beyond do you see ALV as a reasonable position or it doesn't need to be owned.

5i Research Answer:
The same risks remain but over the last year, operations are looking a bit more stable and the share price has found some better momentum off of some weakness prior. It remains volatile and will rely on the prospects of oil to some degree but management appears to be executing better.
