We are always cautious about media sources citing 'billionaires that are praising a new tech or a new company'. BITZ is focused on data-center development, high-performance computing (HPC), and bitcoin mining, with an emphasis on sustainable/low carbon energy and infrastructure. It recently went public in November, and it has four data-centers across North America and Scandinavia. It is a small ($144M market cap) name with a revenue base of $35.5M, and an OK equity position of $17.2M. It is unprofitable and does not generate positive free cash flows. Since it is still very early days for this company, we would prefer to watch on the sidelines to see if it can improve its sales base, grow its margins, and continue to expand its balance sheet.
We would give HIVE the edge today given its much larger size, longer history of operations, and more established base of operations.
