If I was going to initiate a position in ZOMD would you recommend doing it before or after earnings reporting on Friday? Would you buy in tranches like 1/3s?

Typically, with earnings this close, we would prefer waiting until earnings are released, to assess if a better entry can take place. We would be OK with starting a small position here, with the potential to increase it to a full starter position following the results.
