Q: T2 Metals Corp (TWO)
Is this a diamond in the rough? Please comment on insider ownership/buying and major well known stakeholders and the CEO track record. What do you think of the balance sheet and outlook for this company. Thank you.

5i Research Answer:

Insiders own 21%. At a tiny market cap of $14M, it is not one we follow very closely. It has no revenue, not much cash, losses and negative cash flow. There has been some insider buying in the past six months (12% more, not 12 perecentage points). T2 Metals Corp's management team is led by President, CEO, and Director Mark Saxon, who has 30 years of experience in exploration and resource geology, including about a decade in CEO and leadership roles. He graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from the University of Melbourne in 1991 and has worked globally with and led both major and junior resource companies. Saxon has notable discovery success with companies such as Tasman Metals Ltd, Mawson Gold Ltd, Tinka Resources Ltd, and Leading Edge Materials, spanning rare earth elements, lithium, base metals, and gold. His tenure as CEO at T2 Metals has been around 4.7 years, and he owns about 7.1% of the company. We would consider it far too speculative for endorsement.
