Northfield’s most significant exploration asset is its stake in Juno Corp., a private company that has become the largest mineral claimholder in Ontario’s Ring of Fire region—a district known for significant critical and precious mineral potential. In July 2025, Northfield increased its ownership in Juno from 16.8% to roughly 24%. Juno controls over 4,600 km², representing more than 55% of all mineral claims in the Ring of Fire. Its 2025 exploration campaign has ben focused on drilling and expanding mineralized zones. Juno is strategic for Northfield, offering good upside if resource development in the Ring of Fire advances as planned. The company has other assets but this is the one driving the share price currently. It has a bit of revenue from the other ventures and has had positive cash flow in the past at times. Insiders own 38%. We would consider this very high risk, but there is potential here for speculative investors interested in the region.
