SIG is enjoying the party in the gold sector, up 172% this year, bringing market cap to $394M. It has $22M cash. It is not yet producing but cash burn is fairly low right now.
It main asset is the RC Gold Project (Yukon): 100% owned, 431 km² (166 sq mi) district-scale property in the Tombstone Gold Belt. It contains the Blackjack and Eiger gold deposits, hosting, as of early 2025, an indicated resource of 1.3 million ounces at 1.0 g/t gold and inferred resources of 1.5 million ounces at 0.95 g/t gold. SIG has an aggressive 2025 drill campaign (30,000 meters) focused on expanding high-grade zones (e.g., Blackjack, Rhosgobel, Saddle zone) and testing new areas like the recently acquired Clear Creek property—an area known for intrusion-related gold. Notable drill results include intersections such as 145 meters of 0.92 g/t Au (with higher-grade subintervals) and occurrences of visible gold across several targets, highlighting the project's expansion potential. Drill results in September were very good and got investors more excited about its potential. The potential is good here, but it is important to highlight its early-stage of development and risks. Much could go wrong and more time and money is needed. It would be years before a mine even if one is delineated by drilling. Solid for a developer, but SIG needs to be considered quite speculative at this point. Insiders own 4% and we would consider them good.
