01 Quantum (recent name change from 01 Communique) had a news release today ...."01 Quantum and qLABS Announce Quantum-Resistant Ecosystem on Hyperliquid Powered by QCW".
Is this announcement significant going forward and how big is Hyperliquid vs some of the other major players, ie % market share...as noted in the release "Hyperliquid currently has a market capitalization of approximately US$15.5-16.5 billion (according to CoinMarketCap)"
I have held this stock for many years (underwater of course) thinking that some day they might get onto something big. Even with the 1,125% gain over the last 52 week period, I am sadly still underwater.
Could this be the news required to get this company recognized for future (accelerated) growth?
I take some comfort in knowing that at least I will make good use of the capitol loss rule when I sell. ;)
cheers,
Steve
We have added ONE to the database. The recent name change, to us, seems like a move to capture interest in quantum computing. But, certainly the need for security is going to be paramount. Note we would not equate Hyperliquid's 'market cap' to that of the market cap of a company. ONE still of course is a small company, with not much cash, not profitable, and with negative cash flow. The stock is also very very volatile. Insiders own 14%. There has been a bit of insider buying. We do not see the news as hugely material, but certainly net positive. We would still not have high expectations from the stock. But....in a risk-on market, with connections to security and crypto and quantum, investors might still keep buying. It might do well under certain conditions and if it can ever generate more sales. Its highest sales year since 2003 was $1.3M.
