If the US can take a 10% stake in the company it will be very positive, and of course a huge endorsement. It will also de-risk the company in terms of both immediate influx of cash and easier potential to raise more money in the future. That being said, such events tend to cause massive initial excitement and then the stock typically settles down. LAC is now up 90% for the year and not yet producing. Its mine under development still needs to go well and perform as expected. It is certainly good news, but we would be reluctant for buyers to 'chase' the stock right now.
