GG has more than tripled this year, bringing market cap to $107M (still very small). We are not fans of the CEO, and he shifted from a money manager to gold about a decade ago, and while anyone can learn, it is a tough business to parachute into. Kudos to the stock, however. With assets in S. Africa and Mexico, there is some risk here, but GG does have some revenue, profits and positive cash flow currently. It produced 3,030 ounces of gold in the Q2. Production ramped up 90% with a new area of production. Sprott is not listed as a shareholder and based on our experience at Sprott and with the CEO we would be surprised if there was any interest. We would like to see some more sustained production here, but certainly there is some potential if production can continue to grow. We would certainly take some profits off the table after a near 600% one year gain.
