Q: What are the ramifications for SCR shareholders with Cenovus purchase of Meg Energy?

We need to see if SCR responds, but we doubt it will want to engage in a bidding war. If it does nothing, it will still make a nice profit on its 10% MEG interest, and it has promised a $10 dividend to shareholders. We would be comfortable holdiing SCR shares here.
