Q: Are there any mutual funds or ETFs which invest in Private equity? Or simply buy the companies (Blackrock, Fairfax, KK etc) to get that exposure. I would like to add that for diversification but need direction.

There are several quality ETFs that invest in private equity managers, such as NGPE and PSP. Both are solid and we would be comfortable. NGPE has better returns and is larger. There are fewer that hold private investments directly. STCK is not an ETF but does hold private companies directly as a manager. We would prefer NGPE here for general sector exposure.
