Q: It looks like the last questions about SFD date back 8 - 10 years. Lightwater Partners just sent out an email explaining why they are "hanging in there" with this company. There have been some changes in management and business approach over the last two years since the company founder passed away. The technology itself seems well-proven. I would appreciate your thoughts on the company and if Lightwater's assertion that it has "50 bagger potential" is anywhere close to reasonable.

Even with a 219% YTD gain, market cap is only $42M. It was an 11-cent stock last year, but it is certainly moving in the right direction now. But we should note the top 7 holders own more than 90% of the stock: this makes trading very thin, and the tiny float is great when things work out, and horrible when things do not work out. With such a small float right off the bat we need to be cautious.  The technology may be proven, but it is hard to get real confirmation as the sales base is so tiny right now (third-party sales are the best confirmation of technology, generally). It has $12M in debt and cash flow remains negative. It is going to need more capital, especially if growth kicks in as expected. It has no analyst coverage yet. We think a 50x prediction is too aggressive based on what we see. We would like to see new management and strategy bear fruit before getting too excited here.
