5i Research Answer:

ET still owns 9.9% of HAI, just below the amount where more disclosure would be required. The stock is up 36% YTD, and the attractiveness to it as a takeover target to ET diminishes as it ticks up. We doubt anything happens and the stock is now above ET's $4.50 bid from last year. Expected growth looks good this year, in the 35% range for EPS. HAI is still debt-free. The last quarter was well ahead of expectations. At 17X earnings it is interesting, considering the ET interest might provide a 'back stop' if the share price started to drift lower. FFOX at $12M market cap is really too small for us to know well. It has little cash, no revenue, losses and negative cash flow. It is interesting that AEM owns part of the company but otherwise it needs to be considered a lottery ticket in the mining sector. We would not recommend it.
