Q: Just received an offer to purchase shares at $17.50 by CI. What is your valued opinion 5i. Have been enjoying (div.) Do you think price will move up. I believe they had a dutch auction back last year.Have not read any of their Fin. Info lately.The info is approx 30 something pages all legal talk.

Generally we prefer NOT to tender to such deals. The company believes its shares are undervalued and is willing to put up money to prove so. The stock is very cheap, and acting well. Strong equity markets should provide a tailwind. We would not tender.
