Q: I hold Real Luck Group in my TFSA. It has said "trading halted" for months now. What does that mean and what should I do?

5i Research Answer:

LUCK has not filed financial statements, has had a change of auditors, most of its directors have resigned and it is looking to sell its assets. It just raised a bit of money (debt) (at 11%) and its ability to survive is very much in question. The halt will be in place until the company is up to date with its financial filings. It was unable to do an equity financing or find an acquisition. We doubt it survives.
