Q: On February 9 you were asked a question to screen for mid size co. that yielded more than 3% and had good opportunity for growth in the next several years. WFC was included in that list. I have searched on TD Waterhouse for details on recent financials without success. Can you go over the companies financials over the past 5 years and where you see growth? Thank you for all you do.

5i Research Answer:

Revenue has been chunky: $452M in 2019 to $144M last year. It has been profitable for some time, but the five year cash flow per share range is $0.53 to $9.87. It did no M&A activity in that time. Debt is high, and the company's fortunes are dependent on the real estate market and its monetization of its various development projects. Management is very well-known in the sector and insiders own more than 60%. It has no coverage and thus no estimates, but with rates heading lower its portfolio should be able to product decent returns. It pays a dividend but not every single year. No dividend was paid in 2022, 2021, 2020 or 2015.
