Q: A little while ago I asked 5i what the current yield was for UMAX and HMAX as I wanted to target the yield for an entry point . Could 5i give me the formula to use so I can do this on my own ? Use HMAX as an example to illustrate using the formula ..... Thanks Garth

5i Research Answer:

UMAX has only paid four dividends. Three at 17.5c and the recent one (ex Nov 29) at 17.25c. The dividend is paid monthly, so an annual basis is 12 x 17.25c = $2.07. Current price $14.84, so yield is $2.07/$14.84 = 13.95%

HMAX dividend has ticked down from 18.5c in March to 18c which went April to August, then 17.75c for September and October, and is now 17.45c. This is $2.09 annualized, or 15.56% at current price of $13.43.
