Q: Were the earnings of NPK as bad as I & the market think?

5i Research Answer:

Revenue, profit and EBITDA did show a big drop from the prior year period. Higher interest rates and inflation are biting into Brazilian farmers' budgets. NPK notes that this likely peaked in the Q2. But, the drop in sales/profits was substantial, and it is a small company with only one analyst. The stock had also run 10% in the prior two days before earnings.
