Q: Npk is going to sell carbon credits on its 300000 tons of production at $500 US per ton. The first sale is to go through by the end of 3rd qtr. The markets seem to like this & the stock is up this AM. Do you think this has potential for the shares? Comments please.
In Npk's last conference call was there any mention of them fixing the flooding of the road to their mine that was preventing them from delivering product?
Thanks
Fergie

In the call the flood was mentioned in a question but management did not provide concrete info nor cost estimates. Carbon credit sales are a nice, non-dilutive form of financing, and we think it is a good move for the company and potential share price appreciation. The stock rose sharply last week, though, and at least some impact is now embedded in the price.
