Q: I've been sitting on a 34.5% cash position waiting to see what President Crazy does between trade wars and real wars to the markets . And I have owned NLY in the past . Years ago it was one of " Grant's " favorites . But I was thinking of parking a little { somewhere between a 4% and 6% position in my RRIF } in some high yield moderate risk investments. Seeking Alpha recently recommended NLY.PR.F preferred yielding 8.8% ..... The only hiccup I saw on a long term chart was the Covid crash. It didn't move much on Liberation Day .......Could 5i give me there opinion on what factors might create volatility with a 5i opinion on whether this is a " good or bad idea " ? ...... Or do you see safer places to get a similar yield ? ..... Thanks for your terrific service .....
