It was a car doing an illegal turn.. I was on my bike and apparently was in the way of the driver. They were charged and convicted of dangerous driving...scary, but all good considering what it might have been.

On the topic of balancing your portfolio, an observation I recently had the pleasure of witnessing is when a slightly overweight stock has a dramatic rise, all your equally weighted stocks are now underweight. Then, after rebalancing the big winner you have the huge chore of deciding where to deploy the cash. Thanks for this, eh!
