Flash Update
With so many stocks on the move, we have posted what we call a 'flash update' on numerous companies from our coverage list. Log in to view the reports here. There are various rating changes and we focused the list largely on names we view as having more of a material exposure to the current crisis at hand. Some names have declined by such material amounts, the rating was left unchanged because we viewed the prices as reflecting an absolute worst case scenario. Other names simply face too much in the way of uncertainty to be as confident as we were three months ago. As always, just because a rating has changed, does not make it a good or bad company to own. Many of the names that saw a downgrade could offer stellar returns if they make it out the other side. Regardless, in the more near-term, companies that face far more uncertainty in the outlook needed to have this uncertainty reflected in a rating change.
