Q: Last September I asked about MNY as an alternative for brokers who do not allow you to buy PSA. I haven't seen anything on it since.

What do you think of it now and why do you prefer PSA?

Thanks

5i Research Answer:

MNY invests in ultra-short money market securities, has assets of $180M and a YTD return of 1.76%. Indicated yield is 5.09%. We think it is fine for cash-parking purposes. PSA is simply much larger and has a much longer tenure. Assets are $3.8B and indicated yield 5.23%. YTD is 1.81%. So PSA is larger, has a longer history, slightly better returns and slightly better yield.
