Q: I think electrolysers / electrolysis may be a growth area in the near term.
Can you suggest some public companies or ETFs that are in this technology or space?
There are a number of public companies that tackle the creation of hydrogen, fueling, and storage. The creation of hydrogen is usually by electrolysis, or the use of electricity to split water (H20) into hydrogen and oxygen since pure hydrogen does not occur naturally. Some companies to look at include Hydrogenics (now owned by CMI), and FCEL, and on some level PLUG, and BLDP have some exposure to the space as well.
Authors of this answer, directors, partners and/or officers of 5i Research and/or affiliated companies have a financial or other interest in FCEL.
