Q: How significant would it be for the Canadian lumber companies if the US removed the tariffs on lumber? Which stock would you recommend in such a scenario.

This would likely result in a double pressure on lumber prices through increased supply available and lower prices charged due to lower tariffs. We are not sure any lumber stocks would benefit from the removal or reduction of tariffs, but homebuilders like CCS and XHB (ETF) and construction companies like WSP, STN could benefit.
